Sami delivers technical assistance to regulators, writing research papers on digital asset policy, and is a tutor for the Cambridge Digital Assets for Regulators programme.

He worked as a senior policy advisor and tokenisation strategy lead at the UK’s FCA, and has extensive experience developing the UK’s regulatory and policy framework for crypto-assets and represented the FCA at international standard-setting working groups on tokenisation and decentralised finance.

Sami also worked in the FCA’s innovation hub and regulatory sandbox, with prior experience in management consultancy, regulatory advisory, and in financial market infrastructure at the Bank of England.
