Hunter is Co-Founder and Executive Director of Financial Innovation for Impact (Fii), and is Associate Director of Business and Operations at the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance, Cambridge Judge Business School, University of Cambridge. His research interests are in digital assets, financial inclusion, open banking and more broadly frontier market investing across geographies and technologies.

Previously Hunter worked in the finance industry, beginning his career in corporate banking in the United States, and later transitioning to Rwanda as an operating executive in digital transformation and restructuring in microfinance. Hunter has his MBA from the University of Cambridge Judge Business School.
