Gabriella is a Legal and Policy professional based in Ethiopia, with extensive experience in academia, the private sector, and the public sector since 2012. Gabriella played a key role at the National ID Program of Ethiopia for three years. She was engaged in drafting and reviewing legal documents, engaging with stakeholders, and providing legal training.

Prior to her role at the National ID Program, Gabriella worked for five years as a Corporate Lawyer and Chief Operations Officer in the private sector representing clients, providing legal advice, conducting operational reviews, engaging with portfolio companies and developing legal documents.

Gabriella also worked as an Assistant Lecturer for five years. Her research and reading interests include public policy and administration, data protection, investment law, and gender equality.

Gabriella holds Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws from Haramaya University in Ethiopia. She specialised in International Economic and Business Law.
